Few Points to Remember:
1. The Notes roughly follow the track of the course content as taught in Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017 at IISER K. Though be aware that Instructors change and so does the framing of the course. Hence, first compare these notes with your class notes to make sure what topics are newly included or omitted in that course.
2. As it may come to your notice, these Second Year Notes are quite detailed often going deeper than what is required in the class. Also, at times, they go off track just to chase a beautiful concept that may not be the part of the course content. As a result it may well happen that you find them to be too informative than needed. Therefore, be choosy in picking only what pleases your need and taste. Almost entire syllabus of each course is covered therein.
3. Notes aren’t edited and hence may have typos and logical errors. Discretion advised while referring to them.
4. Relying on the Notes completely and bunking the classes with blind faith on this resource is strongly condemned.
5. The PERFECT way will be to attend classes regularly, maintain your own organized class notes, think about the concepts, ask doubts to profs and dive yourself into the reference textbooks and online resources for deep insight into the subject. This will bring the true joy of understanding to you!
